Hello, I'm Sofia Vidal, a Peruvian industrial designer and ceramist. Over 12 years ago, I founded my ceramic brand, KUMIKO. The name Kumiko, a Japanese feminine name, became my nickname upon my return to Lima after studying in Tokyo for several years.

In 2021, I relocated to Florida, embarking on a new journey in ceramic education. This path differs significantly from my previous endeavors in designing and producing pieces. I find immense joy in connecting with individuals who pursue the art of ceramics for professional, hobbyist, or therapeutic reasons.

You'll find me in my studio in Boca Raton, when I'm not engaged in teaching, . There, I immerse myself in crafting new projects, fulfilling client orders, or simply unwinding with a bit of clay, much like my students.
